PTSD Therapy
Flashbacks, hypervigilance, and never quite feeling safe
PTSD can develop after a single traumatic event or repeated exposure to distressing situations. It shows up as flashbacks, nightmares, a nervous system stuck on high alert, and an instinct to avoid anything that reminds you of what happened.
How I work with it
EMDR is one of the leading recommended therapies for PTSD. Alongside NLP anchoring and THETA sound work, we process the specific memories driving your symptoms and retrain the automatic responses your body has learned to default to.
If you work in emergency services or another high-pressure frontline role, you don't need to explain that world to me — I've worked directly alongside it, and the Blue Light Rate reflects that.
You might recognise this if you:
Flashbacks or intrusive memories
Nightmares or disrupted sleep
Feeling constantly "on guard"
Avoiding reminders of what happened
Emotional numbness or feeling cut off from yourself
